Laura A. Evans

Assisting clients in their most critical life moments continues to energize and inspire Laura. Laura spent more than a decade as a family law attorney before she made the switch to her current practice areas. Laura’s ability to connect with and empathize with her clients sets her apart as an attorney. Helping her clients and their loved ones navigate the Medicaid application process, planning their estates, and helping their loved ones move through the probate process fit Laura’s skills to a “T”. When Laura made the shift to Elder Law and Estate Planning and Administration, it was clear from the start that she had found her calling.
Laura grew up in Northeast Ohio and met her husband, Tracy Evans, a native to Harrisonburg and a local attorney, in law school. She relocated to the Valley in 2006, and it quickly felt like home. Laura and Tracy now live in Penn Laird with their two daughters, Lyla and Anna, and their fur son, Peanut, a Westie mix. In her spare time, she can be found reading a book, introducing her girls to the TV shows and movies of her childhood, or FaceTiming with her family in Ohio.
